I created a calendar that boosted time spent on the site by listing writing contests or grant application deadlines. An editor was assigned to the task of fact-checking and updating this resource. My "From the Editor" column focused on sharing links to resources or personal anecdotes that would appeal to the creative writer and boost our site ranking in search engines.
